Voltage from the beginning to the end. Highly recommended. Bikini is not only written by Patterson, but his master's hand is apparent on every page. The story is very cinematic written and unfolds with the pace and suspense of a horror movie. The number of surprising twists is as great as the contrast between the sunny area full of palm trees and white sand and bloody murders. It makes the atmosphere sultry and icy cold at the same time. Any time the danger strike again in full force. Patterson is in that respect a master thriller that has no equal. He plays the audience as a director, shakes it, does it shudder and keeps it in his power. He is the Quentin Tarantino of the crime story. He makes something completely new with old materials. Hard and horribly good. 0 1 2 3 4 5 - Average rating: 0/5 - (0 Votes) 02-04-2013, 18:48 written by Knokke Comments (0) 29-03-2013 stico LINDA JANSMA stico - Handhold After Kaleidoscope and Tweestrijd again a thrilling story, full of action. I had no idea where it was going and was very surprised to see the denouement. Beautifully developed characters like you know them very well, you understand exactly why they react as they do. This is the third book I read from this author, they are all great and I'm a fan! 0 1 2 3 4 5 - Average rating: 0/5 - (0 Votes) 29-03-2013, 18:38 written by Knokke Comments (0) 23-03-2013 DEON MEYER INVISIBLE Politics, corruption, racial and tribal tensions , endangered wildlife and ecology. As in all his books Deon Meyer late in Invisible know what he thinks of the South African society, the reader, but he does so without keeping the story. stico Disturbing in Fortunately, because Invisible has a compelling story. The quest of Lemmer and Emma for her missing brother is extremely exciting. That's because stico Meyers intrusive style of writing. Nice, short sentences. Sharp observations. No unnecessary trips. From the first page shimmers the book and the reader gripped. I know I do. Handsome is how Meyer tells the story from the perspective of the stiff Lemmer. An intriguing character with a violent background, but with a strong moral sense. Too bad that halfway through the book, when Lemmer takes the decision to the hunter to hunt, the story almost to a halt, and musings Lemmers enter the main tone. This is compensated by the final, where bl
