Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating dad, father bonds, and the influence of fathers pressure washing in society. After the success obtained by Anna Jarvis with a Mother's Day promotion in the U.S., some wanted to create the same holiday for other family members, pressure washing and Father's Day is the option most likely to succeed. Father's Day was founded in 1910 by Sonora Smart Dodd, born in Arkansas from Spokane, who is also the driving force behind its establishment. [3] The first celebration was in Spokane, Washington on June 19, 1910. [3] [4] his father, Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, was a single parent reared his six children in Spokane, Washington.
